Lindsay is nothing short of amazing! She helped us plan our wedding from start to finish and we are so grateful for her expertise, professionalism and positive attitude. When we first connected, I wanted a small, more on the simple side of a wedding- but as the process went forward, my ideas, guest count and vision changed dramatically and Lindsay never once questioned it and went along as planned! We had so many questions throughout the process and Lindsay was always available via call or text to either ease our minds, give advice or share a laugh. The day of the wedding went seamless, and even with a un-expected downpour, Lindsay and her team went above and beyond to ensure the event still went forward, that we were happy and taken care of, and the party was still happening for the guests. Everyone commented on how perfect everything was and how kind and helpful Lindsay and Manuel were. We not only had an awesome planner, but now someone we call a friend! We can not recommend Lindsay enough!

Choosing Reno by Design as my wedding planner was hands down the best decision I made in my wedding planning process. Lindsay Congdon was a dream to work with. She went above and beyond to make my vision become a reality. She really got a sense of the vibe I was looking for and then helped suggest cool details that I hadn’t even thought of. 

I am not a planner and had a hard time stepping into the role as a bride. She made the whole process exponentially easier with her calm guidance, clear communication and attention to detail. Lindsay didn’t show up just to do the job. You can tell that she genuinely cared about us as a couple and our experience. Lindsay went out of her way to make sure all the details were taken care of. Her day of coordination was spot on and helped make the day flow so smoothly. I would hire her again in an instant if I were to do it over again.  

My wedding day was the best day of my life and that is in large part due to Lindsay and Reno by Design! Hiring Lindsay as my coordinator was hands down one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process! From the first conversation it was so comfortable and easy as if we had known each other for years! I thought planning a wedding from 2 states over would be a challenge but Lindsay made it a breeze! Her communication was impeccable and she had a quick response to every email and text I sent! She was there all times of the day for any question or thought I had! On my wedding day all I had to do was get married, Lindsay took care of every little detail and made sure the day ran so smoothly! I could not recommend Lindsay enough, she truly cared about my now husband and I and helped us make the most special day of our lives so much less stressful so that we could just enjoy it and soak every thing in! Anyone getting married in the Reno/Tahoe area, Lindsay should be your first call!! 

I don’t even know where to start because everything Lindsay does is GOLD. I cannot say enough about how kind, thoughtful, well-organized, and proactive she is! I utilized her talent as a day-of-coordinator for my small wedding and man, did she make it EASY for me to embrace my day and not have to worry about the small things. Her eye for beauty combined with her openness to my own vision lead us to having the most memorable and happy wedding day that my family raves about. I so appreciate how responsive Lindsay is with the pre-planning stages, the weeks and days leading up to our weekend, and asking me questions about things I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise was critical guidance to the success of our big party. Her coordination with the vendors and day-of necessities gave everyone involved peace of mind. Lindsay is a magician in the best way. I can’t wait to brag about her as one of the highlights of my wedding ❤️

We truly hit the jackpot with Lindsay as our wedding planner! Even though she was technically our day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond in the months leading up to our big day, especially since we were planning a destination wedding all the way from Texas. She was always easy to talk to, super responsive, and completely on top of every single detail.

On the actual day, a surprise hailstorm threw our entire timeline out the window but Lindsay didn’t miss a beat. She pivoted like a pro, kept everyone calm, and made sure everything still felt seamless and special. Thanks to her calm and capable presence, what could have been a stressful moment turned into just another unforgettable memory.

The night ended with so much love, laughter, and happiness. It was truly the most perfect day, and we know it wouldn’t have been the same without Lindsay. If you’re looking for someone organized, kind, responsive, and ready for anything, Lindsay is your girl. We’re beyond grateful for her!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Lindsay. As an out of state bride, I feel so lucky that I found her. From the very beginning, even before officially becoming our wedding coordinator, she was incredibly responsive, supportive, and helpful. Lindsay went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled, and I truly credit her for how seamlessly our wedding day came together. She even went out of her way afterward to help drop off our marriage license and flowers to be pressed. She’s an absolute gem and I would recommend her again and again without hesitation. 

We are SO incredibly grateful to have had Lindsay as our day-of coordinator. When we first started planning, we thought we could handle everything ourselves—but wow, were we wrong! Lindsay was truly the biggest blessing on our wedding day. She was so kind, organized, and intentional, and she brought our vision to life with such grace. From the flawless setup to the seamless clean-up, she handled every detail so perfectly that we honestly can’t imagine our day without her.

Because of Lindsay, we felt like honored guests at our own wedding rather than stressed-out hosts, and that meant the world to us. If you want a coordinator who will go above and beyond to make your wedding stress-free and unforgettable, Lindsay is the one!

I cannot give enough praise for how amazing Lindsay was as our Wedding Planner. We decided to do an intimate wedding in Tahoe, but live out of state so had absolutely no knowledge of anything in the area. Lindsay gave us fabulous recommendations for all of our vendors and we absolutely loved every single one of them. She was kind, always responded in a timely manner, communicated both via email and text and phone calls. When it came to the wedding weekend she did not stop moving to help make sure that our day was as perfect as we wanted. If anyone is looking for a planner in the Reno/Tahoe area look no farther than Lindsay!!! Would use her 10x over again and again!!

I would give Lindsay 10 stars if I could! TRUSTING her with our wedding planning process and wedding day was the best decision ever—and when I say trust, I don’t say that lightly as I am a Type-A personality girlie who loves details and having control of everything.

First impressions: From the moment I met Lindsay, I could tell she is organized, has great attention to detail, and thinks very practically & logistically. She has amazing energy & is very kind, genuine and honest.

Working relationship: She always responded within a very appropriate amount of time (sometimes crazy fast!) and her communication is top tier. She didn’t waste time or money throughout the planning process. She was always quick to handle any unforeseen circumstance or detail that popped up. She was available for calls and meetings when necessary. Additionally, she was full of calming reassurance every time I tried to spiral about something! At the same time, she was my hype person with my wild ideas that were within reason. She steered me towards a productive direction and hustled to make things happen. To bluntly state it: Lindsay delivered every step of the way.

Rehearsal & Wedding Day: Because of Lindsay’s organization skills, our rehearsal flowed so smoothly! I’ve been a bridesmaid in several weddings where coordination during this time lacked communication, clarity, and direction, but this was not the case with Lindsay. She showed up with directions and executed everything we planned. My entire wedding party complimented her on how easy it was to follow her directions.
Finally, our entire wedding day was absolutely stress-free and a dream come true. My now husband and I agree that it was even better than we could have imagined. Lindsay handled many background items I wasn’t even aware of until after wedding day. She exceeded my expectations on her execution of all the items and tasks we had agreed upon. She went above and beyond on so many levels.

She is simply the BEST, and choosing Lindsay would not be a mistake for your big day. We can't thank her enough.

I don’t know how Lindsay was so available to us, but she fulfilled our every request! After months of planning a wedding I felt like the expenses would never end. But Lindsay saved us money! Lindsay was flexible with rental pickups so we could avoid extra fees and she found a worker to remove snow from the ceremony site so we could have the views of our dreams. My day wouldn’t have been nearly as easy and special if I didn’t have the care and attention that Lindsay offers.
